Devil’s Advocates are Stupid

He claims that is playing the “devil’s advocate.”  Well, the devil has plenty of advocates.  He claims to want to spark discussion.  Discussion is one thing, and it can’t be had in an article.

He seems to bring up some points, like what taxes pay for… come to think of it, that is all that taxes do- pay for things private enterprise could do better and cheaper.  Not to mention that taxes also line the pockets of the most incompetent people in this nation- politicians.

Could you imagine the mindset of people who think taxes are good!  We want good things, right.  If the government does such a great job with schools and roads, why not stop there.  The government could solve all our problems in health care, gas prices, housing, jobs, and everything else.  Then, we wouldn’t have to worry about anything.  We just get everything, and it would only cost everything we make.

Taxes empower government.  Government saps the power and energy of the people.  Taxes lead to the death of the individual, and as a result the whole people.

Government is never, never the solution.
