The Outer Limits
Special Commentary on Fantasy and Sci-Fi.
The Sci-Fi channel continually proves that it is the best network on television with the most prolific movie studio in Network television history, the best shows on t.v., and the occasional Zombie marathon.
The summer season brings back Eureka and a chance for sci-fi to test out some other shows, like Charlie Jade. Eureka is a great show, and I look forward to its premier in July. Also, Sci-Fi has Scare Tactics back on the schedule with a new host– Tracy Morgan. I will tune in to it; I like Tracy Morgan.
Stargate Atlantis:
This season of Atlantis has been mainly focused on the much needed character development of the supporting cast of Atlantis. I like the more human side of Ronin, and look forward to what they are doing with him and Dr. Keller (an old favorite from Firefly). I also like the back seat Teyla is taking, as I have found her less than thrilling over the past few years. The wraith are becoming more intriguing and more developed than any other bad guys in the stargate universe. This was a good season, and ended with a great episode. The human-wraith mix known as Michael (Trip from Enterprise) has been a good character. The next season looks promising.
Battlestar Galactica:
The season thus far has been interesting, but I believe that it is poorly written. We have lost track of major story lines (e.g. the human-cylon hybrid baby) in exchange for a search for the final five. The whole series has focused on this and what will eventually lead to the peace between the cylons and the humans. But, I think the series will end in disappointment for all fans of the show.
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Cronicles
The first season ended with less than a bang, but the show shows potential. I look forward to next season.
